Details:
No pitting in case. I have seen 3 nos motors ,in my life time, in the box and they were baked painted on. The brass color is done one of two ways.
Either heat baked on. Fits charger Gtx Satellite coronet Belvedere dart barracuda I found this on a builders shelf, and it tests fine. It was black but I stripped it and applied the correct colors and clear coated over bare parts.
Especially the ones out of Canada. As usual I offer a warranty on all my electrical products. Here is a rebuilt variable speed wiper motor. Or electrostatic charged plated coating.
